Found a quite thorough illustration of an older Czech oval alto horn. The topic of altohorns has been up recently.

This one illustrates one of the Amati/Cerny stencils, which had its name given by the factory itself. My knowledge of Slavic languages is outmostly modest, so it is pure guesswork, when I reckon. that Lignatone means Liontone.

The bell diameter of this instrument is said to be 8 5/8". Rather impressive, as that is 2 or 3 eights of an inch more than bell diameter of my brit style Imperial comp baritone, that is pitched a fouth lower.
