One day in college, I had a particularly nice sound in my lesson.
My trumpet-playing low brass professor (yes, I know... and he was a barely average trumpeter, too) remarked, "You know, you're really sounding good today! What have you been working on?"
I answered, "Well, last night, I think I fell asleep while listening to my Gene Pokorny excerpt CD on 'repeat' mode."
Funny how things work...
