Once again, I ask for your great opinions and information on these "silent brass" mutes, which appear to mute the overall sound from the horn, yet allow the user to listen with headphones, and something that looks like a walk-man.
Has anyone ever used these? Since I'll be doing most of my practicing in my one-bedroom apartment in San Francisco, it would be a godsend to have the ability to keep the volume to a dull roar, while still being able to hear what I sound like. Otherwise, I'm going to have to practice with the guy from work who plays the bagpipes in our parking lot next to San Francisco Bay!!
