I forgot to mention, that the Theins (and some other mgfs.) even differ between the basic horn material (yellow brass, gold brass, rose brass) concerning the impact on sound attributes - and then the plating as additional components.
However, I wonder if a normal average human's hearing ability can distinguish and really find the acoustical differences.
