Amado water keys first were marketed b and came as a standard outfit from Getzen some 30 years ago.
The point in them is, that they avoid the standard water key nipple. The volume of which is thought to create some disturbing noise components to the brass instrument's sound.
The illustration given is not very good, but that was what a fast search came up with.
