I have a similar experience. I find that I can get most of the water out by using the 1st and 4th spit valves and by turning the horn to the left and pulling the top 1st valve slide. I then do the "King spin" at the end of the night and pull the bottom 1st valve slide and empty the 4th valve slide and It pretty much empties everything.
