- good intonation
- good false tones
- light weight / easy to hold / can stand up & play
- sounds like a tuba to me when I play it, instead of that "distant" sousa feedback
- easy to get around and play rides
- since I learned to play rides on a valve trombone, the 3-valve thing is best for me, though my main instrument is a 6V F
- on this one, the bell comes off so it fits in the car
