This really is a terrific event. The Advocate Brass Band and the community do a fantastic job putting this show on - for free no less and they should be applauded! My band has played there twice and we had a great time. They manage to get some great brass groups to come play in a really nice outdoor setting. Everything from the Dixie Power Trio to the Canadian Brass to Sinfonia to the Salvation Army Brass band etc. If you have the chance to attend I would highly recomend it. I wish I could make it this year and hope you have great weather Dennis.
The last time we played the parade on Saturday was led by a band on one elephant which included a bass drum and Sousaphone!
