Have you ever heard the U.S. Army's choir of herald trumpets? I forget the name of the ensemble. (Of course, Sean Chisham knows.) The ensemble has about twenty members, I think. This ensemble utilizes these instruments exclusively and are quite impressive, both in their playing and their presentation.
If what you're needing is a "English/euphonium/intermediate" shank mouthpiece, a low-cost goodie is the D.E.G.-sold 51D. It is not nearly as deep as the Schilke 51D - just a nice medium-large mouthpiece. Again, cheap/good.
