Quite a few years ago, I stayed overnight in San Antonio because I was a finalist for a tuba job in their local orchestra, as their tuba player was moving to Missouri.
Was I getting a good night's sleep? meditating? doing my Yoga routine? practicing excerpts in the hotel's vacant banquet hall? Hell no. I was sitting in with the AMAZING band at the Landing until about 12:30.
