Used! I'll write more when I have the time. The Barenboim stuff: forget it - the Bruckner box is now impossible to find, even in Europe. Abbado's CSO Mahler 2 is currently available, coupled to his VPO Mahler 4th. The Mahler 6th shows up used now and then. Try Amoeba Music in S.F. for that one. It was out on a DG midprice line, the name of which now escapes my mind. Don't bother with his Chicago Mahler 1st, as it had really bad early digital sound. You'd be better off with the Giulini Mahler 1st instead, but you'll probably have to look on the used market for that one as well. Try searching for some of these items on JPC.de (Germany). There's still more stuff in print on the European continent, than there is in either the UK or the US at this point. I'll write more later. Good luck, and try searching German sites. You could try Amazon.de as well.
