I did find some remarkably good food while I was in Greensboro. There is an excellent Indian buffet for lunch within walking distance of campus... we went there three times! There was also a very good vegan restaurant that we enjoyed in the same strip mall. Did not particularly like the Thai. Two funky coffe shops provided breakfast every day (great pumpkin muffins) and Coo Koo's Nest was an O.K. california wrap joint. To find good beer we had to go to Mr. Dunderbak's in the mall. Found good Pho, but quite a ways from UNCG.Near the Marriot was a wonderful (if short-staffed) Greek place where the Greek Coffee was exquisite.Our absolute favorite was Brazilian at Leblon (Xingu is my new favorite black beer).
