Not specificaly about Sleep Apnea (or Apnoea, for those who prefer Brit spelling):

Charlie McMahon (a well-known and very well respected didgeridoo player here in Australia)... he circular-breathes (obviously)... but also has a plastic tube thingie inserted into the corner of his mouth when playing... some sort of assisted air system. Presumably to assist with volume and endurance. He may not always use the tube thingie, but he was the last time I saw him perform.

I can circular-breathe well, but my sinuses (and the nasal passages I have inherited) mean that I'm limited to the mid/hig register and only really at mid volumes - can't pull it off low &/or loud, but it's fun nonetheless.
