It depends on the configuration. Top action valves will be more because the valve set will generally need to be removed to complete the job. The cost of valve plating and fitting should be between $100 and $200 per valve, plus labor to pull and re-assemble the valve section, if necessary. Figure between $400 and $800 total. I assume that you are talking about a tuba, euphonium prices will be less. The Brass Bow did mine for $600, but that was part of other work that required taking the tuba apart anyway. Taylor Music quotes $115 per valve for euphoniums and $135 per valve for tubas as an approximation.

The best thing to do would be to have a good repair tech take a look at it, but this should give you a ballpark.
