Better for the valve than stainless steel, go to McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com) look for cheese head metric nylon screws on page 2697. 5mm length is catalog # 94310A144 and a box of 100 (the smallest unit sold) is $5.41. Shipping will be about $3 and they take plastic, have no minimum order. They like to think they sell to companies. Well equipped hobby shops carry metric screws in brass. Brass would be far easier to work and far easier on the guide slot in the valve than stainless steel and would far outlast nylon.
