You can try using 1 4 and 5. Just make sure that your first tuning slide is in all the way or it will be too sharp. Another thing you can do if all fingerings are out of tune is make sure you are putting the same input into the horn on the low e as you are for the higher e. That is what Floyd Cooley always told me. Approach both notes as if they were the higher e (the e right below the staff) and don't favor the low note by lipping it down too much cuz you will never be able to center the pitch.
