my opinion is, you don't put a item on a discussion board unless you want it DISCUSSED.
If you don't want people to talk about it, good of bad, then put it on tubadave's site.
I ran the risk of critisism when I posted a link for my CSO album auction. I knew some people would say I was asking too much (they did), but I felt it would sell at the price I had set (it DID).
SO, if the tuba sells, I'll be shocked, but there just might be somebody out there that would love to have a vintage Cerveny in great condition. I would, but not for that price. I WOULD, however, pay more for a 20 year old cerveny than a brand new one, because I think the old ones play better, that is why I did NOT quote braaswind prices in my post, the first on this subject.
