Be sure to research the archives of this BBS since this topic has come up many times before. Myself and others have posted lengthy reviews of the Yamaha mute. In a nutshell, my opinion is that they aren't worth the metal they're made out of. Lots of problems. Check the archives for more info. Good luck!
