I've made a couple of my version of the 52j. They do play very nicely. Mine compare quite favorably with the prototype that I tried at the factory last summer. I've used mine for everything from quintet to large orchestra with good results; great pitch, nice response, and big sound. I have the parts on hand to make up three more, so if anyone is interested in one contact me for details. I have one on-hand to try and could have the next one ready in about a month from your order.
