Warren Deck of the NYPO teaches at Julliard along with Don Harry.
Floyd Cooley of the San Fran SO teaches at the S.F. conservatory, and part tim at Depaul.
Chester Schmitz of the Boston SO teaches at the New England Conservatory.
Gene Pokorny of the CSO teaches super-part-time at Depaul.
Dave Kirk of the Houston SO teaches at the Shepherd school at Rice U.
I believe Ron Bishop of the Cleveland SO teaches at the Cleveland Institute.
Paul Kryzwiki (sp?) of the Philadelphia O teaches at the Curtis Institute.
I think the guy in the Pittsburg SO teaches at Dusquene (sp?).
Don't overlook schools like Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois,
Northwestern, USC, Arizona State and a few others that are powerhouse music
schools with great, non-full time orchestral performers as teachers.
