I don't know whether you are being serious or just a smartass, but I for one think it is a worthwhile book to have. I have found it useful when I am preparing pieces for a performance. The book has helped to learn more about the piece, something everyone should do when working on a composition. It has also has helped me when I needed to put program notes together for recital. I think it is a useful book to have in your library or studio. Maybe I am just a gigantic tuba nerd (and damn proud of it), but I really like the book. That's my two cents.
