Um, check the current exchange rate of Marks per dollar. It's about 2 per dollar. Then do the math, a PT4 for just over 10000 marks is more like 5 grand, plus shipping, maybe 300 zops. Plus the cost of a case, notoriously expensive in Yurrop, like 500-1200 bucks!!! Plus duty tax to the United States, 3-400 bucks. If it's even possible and you decide to fly to Germany to pick one up, then you pay an ADDITIONAL 17% "VAT" tax to the european community, 850 bucks! So the 5000 dollar deal can cost actually from 6100 to 7750! At the higher end of that range you still hafta factor the cost of your trip over there, if you decide, or are even ABLE to pick one out "at that price."

It's more likely that that site is a "drop-ship-seller" who books the order
for you at the lower end of the price range. If the exchange rate goes up,
the manufacturer WILL demand the money from YOU before shipment.
Which can mean that after all the hidden costs, you'll eventually get a horn,
sight unseen, hopefully undamaged by the airlines, and if its a bowser you'll likely be stuck with it.

Sorry if this sounds cynical, but if it were easy or cheap the dealers couldn't make a living, and if anyone could readily do it on their own, the dealers wouldn't bother with the business they are in!
