I noticed some of you cats mentioning wrestling with the 6/4's. One of my students has a Willson 3050 and uses a DEG tuba rest for support. This thing is really nifty gang. The bow of the tuba simply rests on it (while you balance). Very adjustable and comes with a small "gig" bag. It can be placed in the bell while traveling around. I think Brasswind sells them. Hopefully a helpful tip. Hey, if they (BATs) were easy to handle, everyone would want one.
