Wow, what a switch. If I were to think of two mouthpieces as being polar opposites then it would be the C4 and a PT 88. The C4 was probably way too small for your big BBb horn, unless you wanted to play Bydlo on it. Check the BBS below for more discussion about it under F Tuba Mouthpieces. It is really for smaller horns or solos. The PT 88 is absolutely huge and will give a very large and dark sound once you learn how to fill it, as you seem to be. Don't knock the C4, it is great piece when used for studio work and solos. I think that is what it was designed for. The PT88 should be as big as you will ever have to go! Good luck with it.
