I used to own a Kalison DS CC which I liked. It was VERY mouthpiece picky. If you don't find the one that exactly fits you, it sounds kinda lack luster(IMHO). As for bad notes, I think it all depends on your own individual horn and how you play on it. Mine had sharp f's, e's, and Db's. Over all it is a nice horn. It just wasn't my style. I now have a Meinl Weston 2165.
