I enjoyed the heated discussions and the encouraging private e-mails. After nearly 40 posts, let's move on. The tuba, that started this "tornado", has been sold. $2600 (quoted weeks ago) locally to a middle school with a tuba player band director (who HAS a Brasswind catalog on his desk)...the middle school in MY neighborhood. Heck, maybe after selling it, my own son might end up playing it for two or three years....?¿?
