If you count the professinal tuba players playing in
the New Orleans Brass Bands / Funk Bands, then there's
Kirk Jospeh ("Dirty Dozen Brass Band", "All That", "Plunge")
Julius McKee ("Dirty Dozen Brass Band")
Matt Perrine ("New Orleans Nightcrawlers", "All That")
Their primary instruments are three valved brass sousphones.
I know there are others, but the above three are my personal
favorites, and they play some of the funkiest basslines around....
