Thanks for the comment. Actually, I've already been the rounds as far as the local schools go. I get pretty much the same story all around. If a sousaphone gets too old and worn out to use, they don't just throw it away. (Or give it away.) They keep it and cannibalize it for parts. Nothing there for me.
