You can get new mouthpieces with narrow shanks from many retailers, some on the web.
I wanted an inexpensive used one for a 3/4 Conn EEb last Fall and put out a plea on the tuba-euph list.
A guy on the west coast responded who is a very knowledgable repairman and mouthpiece fabricator. He fixed me up with a nice refurbished one for $25. His name - Brian Case at bcase(AT)uswest.net .
