B&S PT-3 for sale. I'll try to tell you as much as I can about my tuba
so you can be more comfortable about your decision:
-CC
-compact 4/4
-5 rotary valves
-yellow lacquer
-19 lb.
-1st and 3rd valves' finish is a little corroded
-scratches where your right wrist rests (good thing I had to type that
sentence) :.)
-3 dents and 7 small dings on the left side (as you play it) (I don't
notice it anymore)
-intonation is great! (only time you move the 1st valve slide is on the
staff D; just push in) (and pull the 4th slide a medium amount on the
2,4 combos)
-PERFECT for quintets and wind ensembles!
-I've used it for 2 years now
-1st slide has been "shaved" for moving the slide faster with ease
-I'll try to describe the sound to you: it sounds compact, yet it has that
warm and open tone (if that makes any sense to you).
I am asking $4900.00 for it. I have no playing problems with it and
like I said, the intonation is great! Send me an e-mail if you're
