Just curious what everyone's favorite pieces to perform are and why. Mine is Prokofiev 5th...mainly because the tuba plays so many different roles: as the bass of the brass section; as a lyrical voice in its own right; as a member of the string section; the bass voice of a woodwind choir...amazing versatility.
