I know this will sound funny, but I would seriously consider the ohio state university. Professor Jim Akins is the the tuba prof there. He is TERRIFIC. at least call and get an info packet. I know thinking of Ohio gives you plenty of farm images to ponder, but Jim is the REAL DEAL. I know, i studied with him and now play quite a few nites a week around town making nice money.
