I agree. I own and play both a standard (small) bore B&S and a Yamaha 822 f tuba. The Yamaha is more of EEb tuba sound for those of us to lazy to learn Eb tuba. The B&S has a more traditional f tuba sound. The low range will never feel like a CC tuba. The notes are there, it's just a matter of getting used to the sound.
