Although $4000 for a Nirschl 4/4 sounds like a "too good to be true" price, I would contact the seller and ask for some background on the horn. If you are able to get it used for less than $5500, then I would say it is a pretty good deal. The Nirschl 4/4 is one of the best 4/4's on the market, if not the best.
