Tim's post about buzzing causing your horn to have a sympathetic vibration is theoretically correct. However, I have to assume you know the difference between a buzz and a ringing sound. If you do hear a distinct buzz, find the spot and have your repairman fix it. If you do in fact have the bell giving off a sympathetic ring of a certain pitch or pitches that continue to "ring after you stop playing", there is an easy at home fix. Place a bell rim protector on the horn. A length of small clear plastic slit open and then placed around the rim. The other solution is to install the bell to top branch brace in another location, up or down. Again you are changing the amount of the bell that is free to vibrate like a,,,"bell".
