I am sure this was probably covered before, but did Mr. Torchinsky ever explain the rationale behind the slow tempos of his recording? I have to admit that I like the textures better at his/Gould's tempo, but knowing what little I do about Gould, there must be a VERY FASCINATING reason for the choice. Thanks in advance. Hope all is getting better for you in South Florida.
