We found that a deep funnel seemd to work the best. When I tried it with my PT88 it was 50 cents sharp on both the D and the F in the staff. With a Laskey 30H everything was dead on with little adjustment required. Some of the Pat Seridan mouthpieces work well with this instrument as well. It is odd though that the first valve slide needs to be out about 3" to get the 1st valve down to pitch. Then you just leave it there. I wish I could have put something in the picture for perspective - to give an idea as to the actual size of the horn in relation to a familiar object. Maybe next time.
