Reading the Fred Geib thread prompted me to ask about any vintage tubists that are still around that might welcome contact. Anyone know of any such lower brass musicians with a willingness to impart their experiences and knowledge?
I'd be happy to construct and maintain a dedicatory website honoring them if enough material could be gathered.
Anyone have such materials they could scan and e-mail to me?
I remember reading on Dale Hale's website that his associate was working on a book about vintage tubists. Anyone know what ever became of that book??
