I've heard that prices on Czech instruments is better than in the US. Particularly on used instruments in the Czech republic.
A friend of mine bought a very curious new 5 valve (TWO bell, one muted) flugelhorn from Josef Lidl's shop in Bruno, brought it back here and sold it. He paid for his airfare with the profit. He said the shop was loaded with helicons and tubas... but it is hearsay.
