That's right - it isn't right, and it isn't fair, but it's going to happen regardless. The trick is to learn from this. The next time there's room to grow in the arts (and it will expend again, regardless of how many morons go to hear punk bands instead), it needs to be done responsibly, and there needs to be at least some accounting for the expenses involved.
