That's one of the best things I've ever heard Rick Denney say. As for child prodigies not being good musiians (as a generalization)...I don't know very many tuba prodigies. Thankfully musicality is in the eye of the beholder. There is a large difference between Gene Pokorny's musicality and Floyd Cooleys. Personally, both of them are great, but there's a big enough difference to where I wouldn't blame anyway for not liking one of them.
