Who's supposed to know many flute studios to compare? I say, she needs to ask a flute teacher (who's heard her play) about great schools around the area. Then go take some lessons, and she'll decide just fine. Just use a bit of common sence, and she'll be in the right dirction.
Typical flute player, has to ask a tuba player for everything.
