The KSO bought a metric ton of brass band music several years ago for a one-time gig that Sande put together and as far as I know it hasn't been used since. I think there is potential to have a great brass band in K-town if one were willing to invest in a SERIOUS labor of love. There are plenty of other gigs (ie:quintet, orchestras, bands) to keep you busy, though. Give my regards to Spicy's, Sam&Andy's, Sawyer's, Hawkeye's, the A&A, the Ho-Ho and Buddy's BBQ. Be sure to ask Sande about his secret verse to Rocky Top.
