Anybody out there who can comparatively size the more common F tubas? (I'm not looking for another one; just trying to educate myself a little)
As far as I know, the MW 182 is the smallest F out there.
I know the MW 45SLP and the Yam. 822 are large F's, but don't know which "plays" larger (as opposed to "sounds" larger, which could be a different ranking order) I figure the Miraphones, Cerveny's and B&S's and Rudy's fit somewhere in the middle...
Anybody care to rank F tubas in terms of how small/large they "play?"
