You could take N.J. Transit from Penn Station to Woodbridge, NJ and visit Dillon Music (right down the road from the Woodbridge station). In Manhattan, you might check out Rod Baltimore on 48 St. (near 7th avenue, I think). You won't find any bargains there, but they have interesting horns from time to time. Dillon is definitely your best bet.
