When I saw this post, I had to comment... In 1982 or 1983, I played the Star Spangled Banner at Wrigley Field with an ensemble of approx. 20 Tubas and Euphoniums. The Metropolitan Chicago Area Tuba Society (metro-C.A.T.S) gathered around home plate and performed the banner in front of a full house.
I'm wondering if anyone else reading this message board was part of that group?
Take me out to the ballgame!
