you might find this interesting: the school I just got out of (a university) had a very long stretch during winter break and started the second week of September, ended after the 2nd week of May. The school I'm attending next semester (a conservatory) starts the 4th week of August, has a much shorter winter break, and ends the third week of May. Is this true with conservatories across the country? Is it a good thing to spend more time in school at a conservatory because I'm paying $16K more than I did last year? Is any of this information relevant? Want to go get a beer?
