I purchased a Monette 94 on Ebay last year at a bargain price. I started getting a teriffic sound from it right away. About 6 months ago I purchased a Roger Bobo symphonic MP. I have been swapping the two mouthpieces back and forth on a couple of my horns trying to determine which one sounds best and is the easiest to use in producing a good sound. I keep coming back to the Roger Bobo MP. The Monette plays very slightly flatter, darker and not in tune with itself as well as the Roger Bobo MP. Maybe next month I will think that a different MP does the trick for me, who knows.
If anyone is interested in buying my Monette 94 at considerably less than list price, please email me. I might be convinced that I can live without it!
