Had Jake taken it on as a regular to play after he sold the Yorks, just one of many he had in his basement (or the studio) or was it yours and you had it at his place for a lesson or something and he just happened to have played it a bit shortly before going on to the big gig upstairs? Hey, maybe we should have all gotten him to engrave his initials or something on our horns if it was only a case of "Jake played my horn once!!!!!" Not judging, just asking, at least at this point.
