I've been in the process of switch over ISPs and now have a new email address. I posted this under the July horns FS, but with the new contact info I thought I'd give it another go!
Besson 983 Eb in lacquer with original case for sale
Big sound, free blowing.
Intonation is very good as I only use two alternate fingerings (G on the staff played 12, Gb played 23)
Lacquer is about 98 percent perfect.
Two or three smaller than BB size dinglets =).
Bottom bow on small side shows in finish where two smallish dents have been removed.
Price: $3600 obo
When I purchased this horn I played about 15 of them (at the distributor!) and almost gave up. When I played this one, it stood out head and shoulders above the rest.
I've thought about selling for about two months and after talking it over with the wife, :), I've decided to go for it. As I mentioned once before, I'm taking a new direction and I can't keep 'em all!
The horn is in southeast Michigan (I live about 10 minutes from Custom Music) and would welcome you to come check it out.
